Dr. Abhijit Joshi is one of Pune’s well known Orthopedic Surgeon. He is currently in private practice as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since (1998). He is also Consultant Trauma and Arthroplasty surgeon based in Pune and is attached as Hon Orthopedic Suregon at Central Railway Hospital Pune since 2021, Global Hospital Pune, Alliance Hospital & Panel Orthopaedic Consultant with Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Sahyadri Hospital Deccan Pune. He is also Head of Diabetic Foot Care Unit at KEM Hospital Rasta Peth Pune.
Dr. Joshi received his Bachelor Degree from KIMS, Karad (MBBS 1994). Post graduate Orthopaedic training from Pune and Diploma Orthopaedics (CPS) Mumbai. He has done International Fellowship at National University Hospital on Diabetic Foot & Orthopaedic Arthroplasty Osseointegration at Sydney Australia.
He is Consultant Surgeon to International Leprosy Union & International Longevity Centre(ILC) Pune. He has done a UN course in Gerontology from INIA (Malta-2006) .
Apart from Orthopaedic Sugery he has also worked for the last ten years in the field of Leprosy Self care and POD and RCS.He has papers/publications in Orthopaedics, Leprosy etc.
Dr. Abhijit Joshi ( August 2010 ) has completed his Fellowship in Diabetic Foot, from National University of Singapore.
